SILVER LINING

14 X 19 X 1.5 INCHES, METAL AND WOOD
Silver Lining suggests a landscape, or in this case, a skyscape. As an elementary school art teacher my 4th and 5th grade classes frequently did paper weaving where sections were cut and folded to reveal contrasting colors. This piece uses metal sheets for the warps and wefts and the folded edges have a thin line of silver paint for accent. Also added is a sun-like disc which appears to be cutting through the morning (or evening) sky.
